 Ingredients:

 • Instant ramen noodles or fresh noodles

 • Spicy soup base (like Korean gochujang or a spicy broth mix)

 • Mushrooms (e.g., shiitake, as seen in the image)

 • Fish balls or seafood tofu

 • Bok choy or other green vegetables

 • Fried tofu pieces

 • Sausage or fish cakes

 • Optional: eggs, shrimp, or other seafood

Steps:

 1. Prepare the Broth:

 • In a pot, bring water to a boil and add your spicy soup base. You can use store-bought hotpot broth, gochujang, or a combination of garlic, chili paste, and soy sauce.

 2. Cook the Vegetables:

 • Add the mushrooms, bok choy, and other vegetables into the boiling broth. Let them cook for about 2-3 minutes until tender.

 3. Cook the Protein:

 • Add fish balls, seafood tofu, or any protein you’re using (e.g., sausage, fish cakes) to the pot. Let them simmer for another 3-4 minutes until heated through.

4. Cook the Noodles:

 • In a separate pot, boil the noodles until they’re just cooked, then drain the water. Add the cooked noodles to the spicy broth.

 5. Final Touches:

 • Add fried tofu pieces or any other pre-fried toppings. Let everything simmer together for an additional 1-2 minutes.

 6. Serve:

 • Serve the spicy noodle soup hot and enjoy! You can garnish with green onions, sesame seeds, or a boiled egg if desired.
